According to the density, particle size, magnetism, hydrophobicity and other factors, the specific gravity of different metal materials are sorted. This crushing and sorting process can separate out metal substances such as iron, copper particles and aluminum particles without secondary pollution such as waste water and exhaust gas. However, the purity of the metal products such as copper and aluminum obtained by this process is low and cannot be sold directly, but must be further processed.

The crushing device divides the whole power lithium battery into the sheet-like diaphragm, positive and negative electrode sheets, aluminum shell and part of the powder that falls off from the electrode sheets. The diaphragm sorting device is to separate the diaphragm from the pole plate and to separate the powder from the electrode, and to process the crushed charged waste battery core and positive electrode sheet. The waste ternary lithium battery positive electrode piece is separated from positive and negative electrode powder, aluminum piece, copper piece and shell by high temperature thermal cracking, sorting and separation process.

The separated copper and aluminum can be recast back to the furnace. Other copper and aluminum products are manufactured. In this way, after the treatment of lithium batteries, the waste lithium batteries can be recycled twice. This is a good cycle.
