Smelting: Smelting is a traditional method of gold extraction. It involves heating circuit boards and other gold-containing materials to high temperatures so that the gold melts and separates from the other materials. This requires specialized smelting equipment, such as an electric or induction furnace. Smelting has the advantage of being able to process large quantities of electronic scrap, but it requires high temperatures and a specific environment.

Centrifugation: Centrifugation uses a centrifuge to separate the gold from the circuit boards. First, the circuit boards are pulverized into fine particles. These particles are then placed in a centrifuge where the gold particles are deposited at the bottom of the centrifuge. This is a relatively simple and effective method but requires specialized equipment.

Gravity Sorting: Gravity sorting utilizes the difference in density of different materials. The circuit boards are crushed into pellets and graded through a screen. The particles are then placed into a vibrating table where the gold particles are deposited in different layers according to their density. This is a low-cost and easy-to-operate method.
